Fee Waiver/Scholarships
Purpose
At the Monticello Center Court Club, we firmly believe that no child should be denied the chance to play basketball due to financial hardship. To honor this commitment, we have established a Fee Waiver and Scholarship Program designed to ensure that all young athletes have the opportunity to participate, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.
Our goal is to make youth basketball accessible to all, fostering an inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and enjoy the game. While we encourage families to contribute what they can toward registration fees, we understand that financial situations vary and support is available for those in need.
MCCC strives to maintain some of the lowest registration fees among youth activities and sports, reflecting our dedication to affordability and equal opportunity. We are committed to breaking down barriers so that every child who wishes to play basketball can do so with pride and enthusiasm.
Policy
MCCC is committed to making its programs accessible to all families. As outlined below, families may request that a portion, or the entirety, of the registration fee be waived by submitting a Fee Waiver/Scholarship application. The MCCC Executive Board will review each application thoroughly and confidentially, considering every case on its own merits and based solely on the information provided within the application.
All applications for Fee Waivers/Scholarships must be submitted via email to montihoops1@gmail.com and must be received before registering any players. Please note that waivers or scholarships cannot be granted retroactively.
The Executive Board will strive to review and render decisions on all applications within 7-10 days of receipt.
Please be aware that the Fee Waiver/Scholarship program does not cover Travel fees. Families granted a waiver or scholarship may still be responsible for paying minimum Travel Fees.
To ensure the integrity of this program, the MCCC reserves the right to request additional financial documentation or information following submission of an application. Failure to provide requested information may result in denial of the application.
Providing false or misleading information may result in the full registration fees, late fees, and/or collection fees being assessed. Additionally, families found to have submitted inaccurate information may be permanently excluded from participation in the Fee Waiver/Scholarship program.
All information provided in applications will be treated with the utmost confidentiality by the MCCC Executive Board.
